The Spare A/D wire (Analogue / Digital) wire is located right next to where you
connect the serial cable to the loom.  There are two 3-pin connectors there.
One is the main trim connector, the other is the Spare A/D.   The Spare A/D is
the connetor with the Red/Black wire, the Trim is the Black/white wire
connector.   To activate the Aux RPM Limit you run a wire loop from the
Red/Black wire to the Orange wire, with a momentary contact button in between.
The easiest installation is to mount a button somewhere reachable while
driving, and then run some 2-core wire (speaker wire is good) from the button
down to the Spare A/D connector.  While the button is depressed the AUX RPM
Limit is activated, release and it returns to normal.  Some people use a clutch
switch as the button.

No problem Jeff.  The Haltech Spare A/D pulls to ground, so it needs the 5V+
source.  Hope it works fine now.

What do you need the relay for ?    All that is needed is for the correct
settings in the Input/Output page, and a switch that will bridge the 5V+ and
the Spare A/D wires.   If you try throwing 12V+ into it you will be asking for
trouble and most likely either wont work or maybe even damage the E6K.

Quick and easy way to make a switch by.

Radio Shack- they have magnetic reed switches for home security- one
magnet, one reed switch, when the magnets get close it closes the reed
switch. Get the 'normally closed' model. Mount the magnet with velcro
and make a simple bracket to hold the switch. Instant easily
adjustable clutch switch. Its like $1.99 US for the switch.
